Application Criteria for Small Entrepreneur Research Assistance Programme Relaxed in April

The Small Entrepreneur Research Assistance Programme (SERAP) will have its application criteria relaxed starting from 1 April, allowing technology companies with less than 100 employees to apply. (In the past only companies with less than 20 employees could apply.)

The Government has been, through SERAP, providing pre-venture capital funding to technology entrepreneurs and small technology-based companies to undertake projects that have innovative, technological content, and business potential. ITC hopes the relaxation of the application criteria will provide further impetus to the development of applied scientific research and promote the development of the value-added industries and a knowledge-based economy.
