AC Voltage Calibrators

The method used for calibrating AC voltage calibrators will depend on the required accuracy and bandwidth of the unit under test.

For highest accuracy, the calibrator will be calibrated using AC-DC transfer technique. In general, measurements will be restricted to the 0.25 V to 1000 V range, and frequencies 40 Hz to 1 MHz.

The calibration of a precision AC voltage calibrator will basically include:
(a) Measurement of output voltage at full range for each range, at one frequency.
(b) Linearity check at 5 voltage levels on one range at the same frequency as in (a).

Additional voltage measurement at other frequency settings as well as frequency accuracy check may be offered at extra charge.
