Mentorship Programme for Scientists of Tomorrow

Jointly organised by the Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and the Hong Kong Institution of Science, the "Distinguished Master, Accomplished Students Mentorship Programme" was officially kicked off and officiated by the Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam on January 28. At the kick-off ceremony, Mrs Carrie Lam expressed her hope that students can learn from the mentors' unfailing persistence and attitudes so that they will reach their full potential.

Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2018: Sharing Sessions with Advisors

The annual Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition (HKSSPC) is now in its 20th consecutive year. This year, international division is newly created to foster the scientific knowledge exchange among local and overseas students. With the objective of giving participants constructive advices on their projects, Sharing Sessions with Advisors were held on January 25 at the Hong Kong Science Museum.

  1. The "Innovation and Technology Support Programme (ITSP)" of the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) covers the funding of exploratory and forward-looking projects, applied research and development projects that are industry-oriented and have commercial potential. The Programme is now open for application and will close on March 29, 2018. Click here for more details.
