Dear Authorised Representatives,

We would like to inform you that all accreditation fees will increase by 4%, with effect from 31 March 2026. This decision follows the results of our annual fee review, which has taken into consideration various factors such as the operating costs of HKAS, the current business environment, and the economic outlook.

The new HKAS fee schedules are provided herein for your reference. They are also available at HOKLAS Publications, HKIAS Publications and HKCAS Publications.

Please note that:

  1. All initial applications and applications for extension of scope of accreditation received by HKAS on or after 31 March 2026 will be charged based on the new fee schedules. If the application is submitted by post, the postmark date will be considered as the date of receipt.
  2. If you intend to submit an application based on the current fee schedules, please ensure that the correct application form (e.g. HOKLAS 005), completed assessment questionnaire (e.g. HOKLAS 007 and HOKLAS 007-A1) and payment can reach HKAS before 31 March 2026. Otherwise, the application will be charged according to the new fee schedules.
  3. Assessment fees for any assessment of which the date(s) and team composition are confirmed on or after 31 March 2026, as indicated by the issuance of the confirmation letter by HKAS, will be calculated based on the new schedules1.
  4. If you have notified us of any changes in your organisation’s information that will lead to the issuance of new certificate(s) of accreditation, the charge of such certificate(s) will be based on the new fee schedules if the notification letter for confirming the change is issued on or after 31 March 2026.
  5. Payment for all other requests for additional certificates of accreditation received by HKAS on or after 31 March 2026 shall be made according to the new fee schedules.

To avoid any misunderstanding regarding the fees to be charged or delay in processing your application, please confirm the details with HKAS Executive as soon as possible in the event of any upcoming assessment(s) due in the next two months. Should you have any enquiry, please contact the responsible officer of your assessment cases.

According to the government’s financial policy, accreditation fees are classified as ‘full-cost fees’ and should be set at a level aiming at full cost recovery. HKAS will continue to review its fees regularly and notify all accredited organisations in due course in case of any changes.

Regards,
HKAS Executive
