The Innovation and Technology Symposium 2017, hosted by Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA), will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on September 7 and 8. This symposium will be a key session of the Fashion Summit (HK) 2017. Jointly organised by 7 environmental NGOs and academic institutions, the Submit will be the first and also largest conference focusing on sustainable fashion in Asia.

With the theme of “Making a Difference” this year, the symposium will serve as a platform for fashion business leaders, industry practitioners and academics to exchange insights on sustainable fashion. Attendees will also have a chance to discuss the latest trends, technological updates, solutions and opportunities in the area of sustainable fashion.

The keynotes will mainly focus on sustainability strategy and textile research and development. While during the breakout sessions, topics including new format for sustainable era and initiatives to help the environment and business will be discussed.
