Activities of InnoTech Month 2017:
Hong Kong Pavilion at the China Hi-Tech Fair 2017 and Two InnoTech Roadshows and Workshops Engage All Walks of Life
Following the nine-day InnoCarnival 2017, two Roadshows with over 50 InnoTech workshops were successfully staged at Olympian City 1, Tai Kok Tsui from November 11 to 12 and at Kai Tin Shopping Centre, Lam Tin from November 18 to 19, providing the public with opportunities to develop youngsters’ talents in innovation and technology (I&T) and appreciate Hong Kong's achievements and innovations in I&T.

These InnoTech and parent-child workshops targeting different age groups cover a wide range of topics, such as "Farming in Space", "Our Biplane Adventure", "DIY Paper Circuit" and "Robot Elephant" , to stimulate young people's interests in science, technology and creativity.

On the other hand, the Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) joined hands to set the "Hong Kong Pavilion" at the China Hi-Tech Fair 2017 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 16 to 21. Serving as one of the events under the InnoTech Month 2017, local achievements in I&T, including those from 5 research and development centres of the Hong Kong SAR were showcased to the trade industries, facilitating technological exchange and business collaboration among Hong Kong, Mainland China and other regions.
