NAMI Displays Its Technological Achievements in Showcase 2017
Organised by the Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI), NAMI Showcase 2017 successfully concluded its 5-day event, from June 5 to 9 at the Hong Kong Science Park. The Showcase demonstrated its awarded technologies of the 45th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva and a wide spectrum of innovative technological outcomes to the public.

Mr Nicholas Yang, JP, Secretary for Innovation and Technology, attended the event together with more than 900 guests, including other government officials, industry leaders, collaborators and partners, to witness NAMI’s excellent achievements.

NAMI will continue to support local enterprises and market-oriented research with its technological expertise particularly in nanotechnology and advanced materials, fostering commercialisation of technology to promote the economic growth of Hong Kong as a knowledge-based economy.

Upcoming I&T Event

The 50th Joint School Science Exhibition (JSSE) will be held from August 23 to 28, 2017, aiming to nurture local science talents, arouse public interest in science and foster the exchange of knowledge. The Committee is going to hold Float Tours on July 30, August 2 and 6 at Olympian City, Fortune REIT and Citywalk respectively where the public can go to catch a glimpse of the JSSEPC.
